Comedy ensues as skilled Second City improvists take NEW executives through a gamut of sticky social situations, entertaining them with smart business quips and thoroughly engaging them with questions, encouraging feedback from audience members and applying the parallels of the actor's world to real-life human interactions.

If the workshop attendees are looking for a bit of comic relief, they're certainly finding it in the scenes they're participating in and through the group exercises getting them up out of their chairs and moving about the room, speaking jibberish and hugging strangers--all to make a strong point.

As one of the improvists says, "You're all leaders, so remaining open and taking away judgment when dealing with others is a valuable trait. Staying aware of your body language and word choices, and keeping an 'attitude of gratitude' is key." These points are really striking home with the collective audience, who in turn shares personal stories and offers feedback to their fellow neighbors.

This is all really what the NEW Executive Leadership Forum is all about: empowering leaders to be assertive, to take risks and build upon their relationships in the best ways possible.
