Which tribe do YOU belong to?

Network Like a Pro
Moderator: Helayne Angelus, Principal, Kalypso
Kimberly Betts, Senior Manager, Deloitte

Sitting on stage in sports jerseys, Helayne Angelus and Kimberly Betts bring their wisdom straight from the playing field to NEW attendees. What a great workshop on how to choose your "tribe" of supporters--both business and personal--and invest wisely in those relationships.

For those of us who have yet to construct a solid tribe (even for those of us who have) support networks can be lifelines. "Tribes shouldn't be the same gender," Angelus says. "Men are important, not just women, and friends are extremely integral in this fold."

"Be committed when someone needs you to respond to them," Betts advises. It's up to us to take responsibility for being there and being responsible when it's at all possible.

An in-depth group activity gets everyone sharing and thinking about their own tribes and the value they provide.

Sage advice for all.
