Network of Executive Women Texas North Central
"Living the Legacy: Making a Difference for Yourself and Those You Serve"
You are cordially invited to attend the Network of Executive Women Texas North Central Spring networking event featuring an awe-inspiring industry leader and keynote speaker, Lt. Col. Consuelo Castillo Kickbusch, Founder and President of Educational Achievement Services Inc. and U.S. Army (retired) along with hundreds of retail and cpg executives from the region. You won't want to miss this opportunity to network with some of the best minds in the business!
With a long history of military and community service, Consuelo has repeatedly reinvented herself while successfully navigating cultural and gender differences. Lt. Col. Kickbusch is a renowned speaker with a mission to empower the next generation of leaders. Throughout her career, she has shared her personal knowledge of becoming an effective leader in today’s global marketplace with hundreds of schools, colleges, universities, corporations and government institutions in the United States and abroad. Born and raised along the border in a small barrio in Laredo, Texas, Consuelo grew up without material wealth, but was taught by her immigrant parents that she was rich in culture, tradition, values and faith. After graduating from Hardin Simmons University, she entered the U.S. Army as an officer and served for two decades. During that time, she broke barriers in the military where she became the highest-ranking Hispanic woman in the Army’s combat support branch. When the opportunity arose to assume a command post, she shocked the military by deciding to retire, instead becoming a community leader.
Consuelo founded the human development company, Educational Achievement Services Inc. (EAS Inc.), to fulfill her mission of preparing tomorrow’s leaders. In 1998, she and a team of educators created the Family Leadership Institute, a multifaceted educational program focused on providing immigrant and migrant Hispanic families with knowledge, tools and inspiration to help their first- and second-generation children succeed in school and in life. Since its inception, the Family Leadership Institute, a branch of EAS Inc., has graduated more than 800 Hispanic and multicultural parents in five states.
