Career Success is Not about Luck; How to Create Your Serendipity at Work
Many things that we do in the office impact our destiny, for the good and the bad. Join us, Thursday October 29th as Jane Miller, long time CEO and career expert, will share examples of ways to positively impact your career. She will also give some guidance on how not to stumble! Jane will give us a lighthearted look at how to control what we can control at work—our personal actions and reactions!
Jane is the CEO and President of ProYo, a high protein natural food and ingredient start-up based out of Santa Barbara, CA. Previously, she was the CEO and President of Charter Baking Company, a private-equity backed rollup of organic and natural bakeries. Hired to turn around the performance of the business, she divested an unprofitable division and doubled the sales and profitability of the premier brand, Rudi’s Organic. That division was successfully sold to Hain-Celestial Group in April 2014.
Prior to Charter, Jane had twenty-five years of experience in consumer products. Jane is also the founder of a career advice website, Janeknows.com, and the author of Sleep Your Way to the Top (and other myths about business success).
