MASTERING THE 20-Minute Networking Meeting
Business executives in a job transition know that it’s tough out there. They’ve heard the statistics and they know the game…”it’s not what you know, it’s who you know.” Most executive opportunities are obtained through connections. Networking is a must. But, to many, networking seems awkward. What to say? How to approach people you don’t know? Worse still, how to ask those people for assistance? This session will simplify networking so that it is easy for the executive networker and a pleasure for those who get the networking call. This session will be presented by Marcia Ballinger, PhD, a veteran executive recruiter who fields networking requests from executives every day. Marcia will focus the session on helping executives avoid the common pitfalls in networking. Tips, tools and an easy five-step process will transform networking into an activity that can be enjoyed… and one that brings results!
