Record crowd headed for NEW Summit in Dallas

More than 900 emerging leaders and senior executives have
registered for the NEW Leadership Summit 2012, breaking an attendance record for the Network's national conference.
NEW members from more than 150 companies have signed up for this
year's Summit, Oct. 22-23 in Dallas. Thirty-seven
companies are sending delegations of five or more, including Acosta, Ahold USA,
Brookshire Grocery, Clorox, Coca-Cola, ConAgra Foods, Coty, Crossmark, CVS
Caremark, GlaxoSmithKline, Hershey, Hess, Hillshire Brands, Hormel Foods,
JCPenney, Kellogg, Kimberly-Clark, Kraft Foods, Michaels Stores, Mondelez,
PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, Safeway, Target and Walmart.
Networking opportunities at the annual event include a
90-minute "Networking for Success" workshop with CNN
correspondent Nadia Bilchik; the opening night Regional Awards Gala, which
includes a reception, NEW Regional Awards Banquet, and 80s Dance Party; a
networking breakfast; two half-hour networking breaks; and the official Summit
The NEW Summit will feature six concurrent sessions; presentations by former Best Buy SVP Julie Gilbert Newrai,
high-performance motivator Yvonne Camus and empowerment expert Dr.
Bertice Berry; our Regional Awards Gala; a c-suite panel on the power of women in retail moderated
by Alison Kenney Paul, vice chair, U.S. retail leader for Deloitte. Our
panel features Irene Chang Britt, president of Pepperidge Farm; Susan
Chambers, executive vice president, Global People Division of Walmart; Tom
