Sandy Ramsey has been promoted to executive vice president of operational finance at Acosta Sales & Marketing.

Ramsey most recently held the position of senior vice president, operational finance, where, in addition to acting as finance lead for Acosta’s operations team, she assumed interim responsibility for sales support, centralized support and the continued development of order-to-cash/business process outsourcing. Her promotion is indicative of the leadership she displayed during this time, the company said, as she will now permanently oversee all of these services.

"Sandy’s leadership during a time of significant change and innovation makes her the ideal candidate to lead the entire operational finance team,” said Greg Delaney, Acosta’s chief financial officer. "This appointment is a testament to her commitment to engaging with Acosta associates and growing our business, all while enhancing our efficiency and effectiveness. We look forward to the many positive contributions we know Sandy will continue to make at Acosta – to the organization as a whole, our associates, and ultimately, our clients and customers.”

Ramsey is a certified public accountant with more than 20 years of experience. She joined Acosta in 1998 as a corporate controller. Prior to Acosta, Ramsey served as a finance manager for Barnett Bank, controller for Landstar Ranger and manager of international finance for Mead Johnson Nutritionals.

She was appointed by Florida Gov. Jeb Bush and reappointed by Gov. Charlie Crist and Gov. Rick Scott to the board of directors of the Early Learning Coalition of Duval County, where she serves as treasurer. She also serves on the board of The Jay Fund. Ramsey graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in business administration and accounting.
