NEW launches redesigned website and blogging community

The Network of Executive Women launched an expanded and redesigned website April 1, introducing a community of bloggers and giving users a fresh, more mobile-friendly experience.

The Network’s blogging community includes experts in diversity and inclusion, career coaching and the consumer products and retail industry, including Trudy Bourgeois ("Ask the Coach"), Bridget Brennan ("The Female Consumer"), Michele Hanson and Jo Miller ("Emerging Leaders") and Dr. Anne Perschel ("Beyond the Middle"). Blogs will be rotated frequently and users are encouraged to post comments and join the dialogue. In addition to expanded features, the site includes new community pages for Members, Sponsors, Regions and Learning.

"The NEW website’s traffic and audience have doubled in the last two years,” said NEW Vice President of Sales and Marketing Nancy Krawczyk."The redesign and blogs better serve our growing Network and enable members and supporters to share ideas and best practices.

"The opportunity to engage in a 360-degree discussion online strengthens our collective voice as we advocate for changes to deliver our vision of advancing women, building business and creating better workplaces. I look forward to the dialogue on work/life integration, unconscious bias in the workplace, ‘leaning in’ and other topics surrounding the development of women in the consumer products/retail industry.”

Rob Wray, director of communications for the Network, headed the website redesign team, which included NEW Communications Manager Barb Grondin Francella and creative consultant Bill Reuter of Reuter & Associates, Baltimore.
