Executive career strategist Cecilia Rose offered advice for opening doors to opportunity at the lunchtime event. She encouraged attendees to approach career decisions with keep an open mind. "[If you don’t,] you will always find what you are looking for and you will miss everything else,” Rose said, adding, "Up is not the only way forward.”

Rose also advised members to take risks. "If you are not failing, you are not doing anything.”

Attending the event were delegations from Acosta Sales & Marketing, The Coca-Cola Company, Kraft Foods Group Inc., The Kroger Co., Nestlé USA and University of Houston.
