Network's shining 'Stars' revealed

Network of Executive Women sponsor companies are living the NEW mission on both sides of the border.

At The Kroger Co., Jayne Homco has been named president of the retailer's Michigan division. Previously serving as vice president of merchandising for Kroger’s Southwest division, Jayne will now oversee 16,500 associates in 129 stores. Erin Sharp has been promoted to group vice president, manufacturing. Erin joined Kroger in 2011 as vice president of operations for the manufacturing division.

Congratulations, too, to Shannon Curtin, promoted to group vice president and general manager, beauty at Walgreen Company. Previously serving as division vice president and general merchandise manager, beauty/personal care, Shannon’s new role includes development and growth of the company’s beauty proposition and customer experience across the United States.

At Yes To Inc., CEO Joy Chen was named one of the "Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business” by the San Francisco Business Times. The women’s leadership advocate was recognized as one of the journal’s "Most Admired CEOs” in 2012.
