than 200 Network of Executive Women members learned to embrace change at the
NEW New York Metro fall networking event, Oct. 10, 2013 at the Liberty House Restaurant in Jersey City, N.J..
Coupe, "content guy” for MorningNewsBeat.com and the author of The Big Picture: Essential Business Lessons
from the Movies, addressed "The Future of Retail” as it pertains to consumer
behavior, technological change and cultural legacies. Coupe urged NEW members
to stay relevant by thinking strategically and looking out five or 10 years,
rather than thinking tactically and becoming enmeshed with what is the right thing to do

Among the organizations sending large delegations to the event were Acosta
Sales & Marketing, Advantage Sales & Marketing, Catalina, CROSSMARK,
Deloitte, Ferrero, General Mills Inc., Johnson & Johnson, Nielsen, Stop
& Shop and Wakefern Food Corporation.
