Digital Command Center lifts NEW social media

The Network of Executive Women’s Digital Command Center, unveiled for the first time at the NEW Leadership Summit, Oct. 21-23, 2013, energized the Network’s event-related social media effort, generating nearly 5 million impressions across Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and other platforms.

The Digital Command Center, powered by NEW gold sponsor Collective Bias in conjunction with Mutual Mind, pulled in real-time content and photographs from online social media conversations centered around #NEWSummit, #Women2020 and other key words.

"We were thrilled to bring this cutting edge technology to the Leadership Summit," said NEW Ambassador Mary Tarczynski, chief shopper marketing officer for Collective Bias. "It allowed participants to share and interact live and gave non-attendees a chance to follow the conversation.”

There were 615 online social interactions from 201 users during the three-day event.

"Our partnership with Collective Bias -- one of the industry's largest social media agencies -- helped us make more connections on social media than ever at a NEW event," said NEW Communications Director Rob Wray. "This partnership, along with our NEW Summit Mobile app, puts the Network at the leading edge of social, mobile and search."

The NEW Leadership Summit conversation continues with links to the conference materials and recap videos on Facebook,Twitter and the NEW Leadership Summit website.

Collective Bias will continue to assist NEW with spreading the word of the Network’s "Women 2020: The Future of Women’s Leadership in Consumer Products and Retail” report through social media channels.
