Tina Brown, founder of the Women in the World Summit and former editor of The Daily Beast, will share her insights on women’s leadership at the NEW Executive Leaders Forum 2014, July 29-31 at Terranea Resort outside Los Angeles. Brown, who has also helmed Vanity Fair and The New Yorker magazines, will close the Forum with advice and strategies for senior-level women. More than 300 senior industry executives are expected to attend the invitation-only event.

"One of the most talk-about magazine editors in the world, Tina Brown pioneered celebrity journalism and later helped changed the way we consume news online,” said NEW Forum conference designer Trudy Bourgeois, founder of the Center for Workforce Excellence. "Now, with the annual Women in the World Summit, she is presenting global affairs through the eyes of women, driving better lives for women and girls.”

Brown left her role as editor-in-chief of The Daily Beast in September 2013 to launch Tina Brown Live Media, devoted to sponsor-supported summits, salons and flash debates, with special emphasis on expanding the annual Women in the World Summit. Since its inception in 2010, the Women in the World Summit has attracted participants such as Hillary Clinton, Condoleezza Rice, Madeleine Albright, Oprah and Susan Rice, joined by the less well known, courageous female change agents from around the world.

Brown also served as editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair, where she increased circulation from 250,000 to 1.2 million, and went on to become the first woman editor of The New Yorker. Brown hosted a well-received television program "Topic A with Tina Brown” on CNBC and in 2007 her critically acclaimed biography, The Diana Chronicles, spent several weeks at the top of the New York Times best-seller list.

The NEW Executive Leaders Forum is designed for senior executives. Attendance is reserved for women and men at the vice president level and above and is capped and limited by company. For more information on attending the NEW Leadership Forum, contact your NEW Ambassador.
