The Network of Executive Women has named Robert "Robbie” F. Solomon Jr. to the new post of director of talent development. Solomon, former managing partner for People Growth+, will report to NEW Vice President of Learning and Advisory Services Kathy Bayert. His role will include analyzing challenges to women’s leadership in the retail and consumer goods industry and designing programs and services to help NEW sponsor companies address them.

"Robbie has a career-long commitment to helping people nurture their ability to lead and to change organizations. He’s a welcome addition to the NEW team as we expand our programs and services to help our sponsor companies and individual members leverage the power of women’s leadership,” Bayert said.

Prior to his managing partnership with People Growth+, Solomon served as director of learning and development for CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh, N.Y., and was an adjunct professor in the department of management for the State University of New York at Plattsburgh.

Previously, Solomon designed and managed leadership development programs and conducted research for The Executive Leadership Council in Alexandria, Va., and the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, N.C., where he coached executives and designed programs for dozens of Fortune 500 companies.
