Kevin Coupe, author and "content guy” for the Morning Beat News, shared memorable movie moments — such as the "It’s the heart that makes it worth doing” scene from "A League of Their Own” — that hold business and leadership lessons. Coupe encouraged NEW members to define their own narrative and make themselves memorable to people they meet in any personal or business context.

"Your story will help you succeed across all endeavors you undertake, because your story is who you are and who you want to be,” Coupe said. "By knowing your story, you will make it a reality. You have a narrative to move up in any organization you’re trying to move up in.”

Organizations sending large delegations to the event include Acosta Sales & Marketing, Atkins Nutritionals, PepsiCo Inc. and WhiteWave Foods.

NEW Denver officers Erica Stone, Donna Harmon, Debbie Wildrick,
