Working Mother conference to explore race and gender

Working Mother Media’s 2014 Multicultural Women’s National
Conference, July 16-17 at the Marriott Marquis in New York, will bring together
high-achieving, high-potential women of all races and ethnicities to explore
and leverage their strengths for workplace success.
The conference, themed "Vision and Impact,” offers
discussion groups, panel discussions, workshops and one-on-one coaching to
deepen the conversation about race and gender in the workplace. The Working
Mother 2014 Top 25 Best Companies for Multicultural Women — including NEW
sponsors American Express, Colgate-Palmolive, Deloitte, General Mills Inc.,
Kraft Foods Group Inc., PepsiCo Inc., Procter & Gamble and Wal-Mart Stores
Inc. — will be honored at an awards luncheon, July 17.
Women leaders from a number of NEW sponsors will be featured
speakers, including Tara Jaye Frank, vice president, multicultural strategy at
Hallmark Cards Inc.; Kimberly Hogg, brand manager, Brisk Tea at PepsiCo Inc.; Alice
Kwan, consulting principal and national leader of talent services at Deloitte; Seong
Ohm, senior vice president, merchandise business services for Sam's Club; Lauren
M. Scott, global marketing director, Smirnoff for Diageo; and Denice Torres, president,
McNeil Consumer Healthcare at Johnson & Johnson.
