NEW members urged to 'lead with purpose'

The most successful, satisfied
people bring their full selves to their jobs and life, Linda Dunkel, CEO of the
Bali Institute of Renewal, told more than 100 NEW members and supporters at the
NEW North Central Texas learning event, Nov. 11, 2014 at the Crowne Plaza in
strategies and work/life advice, Dunkel said women and men can achieve greater
clarity in purpose if they consider their strengths
and the areas in their life they're still working on. "At what are you
really great? What is the one thing that has come easily for you all your life?"

Learning to "live with life's innate tensions" and developing a
personal spiritual practice will make you happier, she said. People who
"enjoy every day" are more likely to be dedicated to their jobs, too.
"Make this conscious choice," Dunkel urged.
"Always assume the best of others — until clearly proven wrong," she added. "Remember
we are all human."
Angela Miller of CROSSMARK said the event gave her "a chance to really
look inward and reflect. It’s also great to meet others that are very similar
to you and some that are totally different from you — to hear different

At the event, NEW North
Central Texas Secretary Christy McCrary of CROSSMARK was honored as the region's
Best of the Best for her outstanding service.
