Top execs make up first NEW Inclusion Committee

Twelve industry leaders have been named to the inaugural
Network of Executive Women Inclusion Committee, which will define and lead the
Network’s inclusion strategy and create accountability for diversity and
inclusion among the Network’s 20 regions. The committee also is charged with
increasing diverse representation among NEW staff and Board members and creating
and measuring D&I success metrics.
Led by NEW Diversity and Inclusion Chair Ken Charles of
General Mills, committee members are NEW Director At-Large Dorria Ball of Mondelēz International, Alice Chan of Frito-Lay NA, Melissa
Donaldson of Walgreens, NEW Director At-Large Vicki Felker of Nestlé Purina
PetCare, Tara Frank of Hallmark Cards Inc., Millette Granville of Delhaize
America, Srishti Gupta of IRI, Greg Kerl of Frito-Lay NA, Eva Kohn of CBA
Industries, Marie Quintana of Tu Familia, Reuben Shaffer of The Kroger Co. and
Greg Warren of Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
"The NEW Inclusion Committee is
working to establish and support diversity and inclusion throughout the
Network's learning programs, events and infrastructure and to align all of the
Network's efforts with our sponsors' business objectives," Charles said.
"Our goal is to ensure everything the Network does reflects all of the
businesses, consumers and communities we serve. We can achieve this through
advocacy, education and leadership for all women and men.”
NEW Secretary Regenia Stein of Ingenuity Consulting serves
as committee advisor; Subriana Pierce of Navigator Sales and Marketing is the
committee's inclusion consultant.
