Daniel H. Pink, author of long-running New York Times
bestsellers A Whole New Mind, Drive and To Sell is Human, will offer his insights on how small changes can
lead to transformation at the NEW Executive Leaders Forum 2015, July 28-30, at Terranea Resort outside Los Angeles. More than 300
senior industry executives are expected to attend the invitation-only event,
themed "Creative Disruption."
Pink will share strategies for disrupting people’s "default
behaviors” through novelty and surprise, using games to alter behavior,
appealing to people's intellects and senses, and deepening results and response
by moving from impersonal, abstract language to personal, concrete language.
"Daniel is an expert in transformational leadership,"
said Center for Workforce Excellence CEO Trudy Bourgeois, conference designer
for NEW Forum 2015. "He will no doubt challenge NEW Forum attendees to adopt
new paradigms, shift their patterns of behavior and step into a creative mindset.
His work proves that exceptionally powerful leaders can see around the corner
and anticipate what the consumer and market wants and can disrupt their
organizations to successfully respond. His work promotes an active level of
awareness for creating the future you desire. In this space, leaders become
more creative, more transformative and more impactful."
Pink, whose provocative books have been translated into 34
languages, is host and co-executive producer of "Crowd Control,” a National
Geographic Channel series about human behavior. His
articles on business and technology appear in many publications, including the New
York Times, Harvard Business Review, Fast Company,Wired and The Sunday Telegraph. Pink has provided analysis of business
trends on CNN, CNBC, ABC, NPR and other networks in the United States and
abroad. He lectures to corporations, associations and universities around the
world on economic transformation and the new workplace.
In 2013, Thinkers
50 named him one of the top 15 business thinkers in the world.
Before venturing out on his own 17 years ago, Pink worked in several positions
in politics and government, including serving from 1995 to 1997 as chief
speechwriter to Vice President Al Gore.
