The Network of Executive Women had record members, corporate partners, industry support and engagement last year, according to the Network’s 2014 Annual Report. But historic engagement levels are "just the beginning,” the organization said.

"Last year, NEW set the groundwork for a new Network and our "It's Time" Movement for women’s leadership and workplace change," said NEW President and CEO Joan Toth. "We created a new mission and vision. We strengthened our infrastructure and expanded our staff. We created a Board-level Inclusion Committee. We redesigned our brand. And we expanded our learning programs to help the retail and consumer goods industry as never before.

Highlighting its transformation, NEW produced a one-minute "It's Time" Manifesto video featuring eight NEW members, which will premiere Thursday, April 23, at 2 p.m. ET. All are invited to attend the virtual premiere.

Last year, NEW membership grew to nearly 9,000 women and men representing 737 companies in 20 regions across North America. More than 1,000 NEW members volunteered their time, talents and resources as an officer, volunteer, Champion or Ambassador.

Active regions

NEW regional groups hosted 128 learning events and mixers, which drew a record-setting 16,080 members and supporters, an increase of 6.5 percent. Attendance at the members-only NEW Leadership Summit and NEW Executive Leaders Forum, NEW Leadership Academy webinars and NEW-hosted events at industry and corporate partner meetings reached more than 7,750.

National and regional partner support increased 7 percent to more than $3 million. The Network’s 102 corporate partners, including eight new partnering companies, contributed $2.82 million, up from $2.64 million and 97 national sponsors a year ago.

National sponsorship represented almost half (48.8 percent) of the Network’s record $5.77 million income. The Network’s sold-out national conferences — NEW Executive Leaders Forum and NEW Leadership Summit — were responsible for 29 percent of total income. Regional events and sponsorship contributed 15.3 percent.
