Retail and consumer goods industry executive Julie Janckila has joined the Network of Executive Women as director, corporate partnerships.

Janckila and Director of Corporate Partnerships Reagan Lund are responsible for developing the Network's growing partnership community, including building relationships with new business partners and supporting the efforts of new and existing partners to advance women's leadership and grow business.

Janckila brings with her a strong background in partnership development, a keen understanding of retail business practices and a passion for the advancement of women in business, said NEW Vice President of Corporate Partnerships and Engagement Nancy Krawczyk. "With the addition of Julie, the partnership team is fully staffed and able to deliver more value to our corporate partners through custom engagement plans," she said. "We are fostering more strategic partnerships and alliances to unlock even more value for our partners."

The Network's growing number of national, regional and virtual resources are accelerating women into senior leadership roles and igniting the dialogue with men about the diversity dividend more effectively than ever before, Krawczyk said. "New technology and new partnerships are critical to the Network's growth as we '#shakeitup' to build our communities and member experience — and deliver on our vision of a work place with no limits."

As manager, promotions at SUPERVALU, Janckila spearheaded the grocery chain's first centralized promotions department, working with companies such as General Mills, Kraft Foods and Coca-Cola Company to develop annual promotional plans, create and execute all promotional materials and analyze/refine results for program optimization. She spent more than 15 years with Carlson Companies (now AIMIA) in roles of increasing responsibility, including director of partnership marketing for Carlson Hotels Worldwide, where she developed the global partnership marketing strategy for Regent International Hotels.

An active member of the Network since 2007, Janckila has served as NEW Twin Cities chair, event programming and co-secretary.
