This year's NEW Leadership Summit offers career professionals 10 hours of networking
and 40 hours of learning, Sept. 30-Oct. 2 at the Omni Dallas Hotel in Downtown Dallas.

"If you're lucky enough to attend this Summit alongside 1,100 other leaders, that's a clear indication your organization has invested in you and your development," NEW Director of Corporate Partnerships Reagan Lund told NEW members during the NEW webcast, Sept. 1, 2015.

Lund joined NEW Learning Manager Eileen Tarjan for "Unlock Your Power at the NEW Leadership Summit," a half-hour preview of the women's leadership event taking place Sept. 30-Oct. 2 in Dallas, and the career-optimizing strategies available to Summit attendees at the microsite.

The NEW Summit's break out learning sessions are anchored on the NEW Career Accelerator ModelTM, which outlines critical competencies for advancing in the retail, consumer products and services industry, Tarjan noted. The Summit planning guide allows conference attendees to leverage their Summit experience and "think about the areas in which you show up well, and in which areas you may have opportunities to grow or where you may need to change."

In addition to the Summit's learning content, more than 10 hours of networking opportunities are on the agenda. Lund urged event registrants to "be proactive" and take a look at the Summit attendees list and preplan their networking strategies.

"The Summit is so incredibly full of opportunities for exposure to people across different organizations and to leaders with whom you may not normally get exposure within your organization," Tarjan said. "Step up and take an opportunity to lead."

Summit registration ends Sept. 9. You must be a NEW member to attend; contact your NEW Ambassador or join NEW.
