The Network of Executive Women has launched NEW Rising Stars, a new six-month leadership development program designed to "change the game" for mid-career women leaders in the retail and consumer goods industry. Registration, which closes February 15, 2016, is limited to the first 100 industry women who apply.
"The careers of too many industry women slow or stall as they reach middle management," said NEW President and CEO Joan Toth. "NEW Rising Stars is designed to change that."
NEW Rising Stars includes two one-day, in-person sessions (the kick-off in New Orleans, April 15, 2016 and in Chicago, Oct. 21); a 360-degree skill assessment; straight-forward feedback; five interactive webinars; and small-group coaching. "The program will enable women to discover insights into their own leadership journeys, leading to greater recognition and career success," Toth said.
The learning program is anchored on the NEW Career Accelerator Model, created in partnership with the well-respected Center for Creative Leadership. The model includes eight leadership competencies and five derailment factors tied to executive success in retail and consumer goods.
Tuition for NEW Rising Stars is $2,875 for the complete NEW Rising Stars program and $1,475 for an online-only learning option. Registration is limited to the first 100 full-program and 150 online learning participants.
Join mid-career professionals from Ahold USA, BIC Corporation, Ferrero, The Hershey Company, Kellogg Company, Keurig Green Mountain Inc., The Kroger Company, Mars Chocolate North America and Utz Quality Foods who have already registered for NEW Rising Stars.
