Wendi Archambault of The Hershey Company, Leah Felsenthal of Method and Oriana Alt
of The Hershey Company networked at the NEW Twin Cities event.

"You don’t need more tips on nutrition and exercise," author and resiliency expert Jenny Evans of PowerHouse Performance told more than 150 NEW members and friends at the NEW Twin Cities fall learning event, Oct. 6, 2015 at Marriott Minneapolis West. "The problem comes down to the environment."

The human body has not evolved to our 21st-century, stress-filled lifestyles, said Evans who shared details of her program, "The Health rEvolution," which taps into evolutionary biology to improve well-being in a way that is simple, realistic and sustainable for busy professionals.

Evans urged attendees to:

  • Know that willpower is easily depleted
  • Take cues for change from your environment
  • Make your easiest choices your optimal ones

Evans led participants in a NetWorkout session, a series of 30-second activity intervals followed by a guided minute-long networking discussion.

Companies sending delegations to the event include The Coca-Cola Company, Concordia University, General Mills Inc., Mondelēz International, Nestlé Group, Nielsen, PepsiCo Inc., Procter & Gamble, Schwan's Consumer Brands Inc. and Target Corporation.
