Tara Jaye Frank facilitated the "What's Your Story?" learning session at the NEW Summit 2015.

Tara Jaye Frank, vice president, multicultural strategy at Hallmark Cards Inc., will serve as moderator of the NEW Executive Leaders Forum 2016, July 26-28 at the Terranea Resort in Los Angeles. More than 300 senior executives in the retail and consumer goods industry are expected to attend the 10th annual NEW Forum.

"The 2016 theme of the NEW Forum is 'Driving Equality' and Tara Frank has demonstrated her ability to do that throughout her career — and passionately guide others to create change in their own organizations, too," said Kathy Bayert, NEW vice president of learning and advisory services. "An author, blogger and in-demand speaker on subjects like emotional intelligence and practical vision, Tara is a known source of inspiration for leaders who are working to create a better workplace for everyone."

At Hallmark, Frank is responsible for partnering across product development, marketing and retail to drive growth with an increasingly diverse consumer base. She leads Hallmark's Multicultural Center of Excellence, whose work has inspired a more holistic approach to leveraging the nuance of culture as a foundational and innovative path to relevance. She was the youngest person in Hallmark’s history to be promoted into executive management and its first African American female vice president.

Frank's 2015 book, Say Yes: A Woman’s Guide to Advancing Her Professional Purpose, was written to prepare emerging women leaders to rise to higher levels of influence.

The NEW Executive Leaders Forum is an invitation-only event for senior leaders, vice president level and above. For more information about attending the NEW Forum, contact your Network Ambassador.
