Hallmark's Tara Frank named NEW Forum moderator

Tara Jaye Frank facilitated the "What's Your Story?" learning session at the NEW Summit 2015.
Tara Jaye Frank, vice president,
multicultural strategy at Hallmark Cards Inc., will serve as moderator of the
NEW Executive Leaders Forum 2016, July 26-28 at the Terranea Resort in Los
Angeles. More than 300 senior executives in the retail and consumer goods
industry are expected to attend the 10th annual NEW Forum.
"The 2016 theme of the NEW Forum
is 'Driving Equality' and Tara Frank has demonstrated her ability to do that
throughout her career — and passionately guide others to
create change in their own organizations, too," said Kathy Bayert, NEW
vice president of learning and advisory services. "An author, blogger and
in-demand speaker on subjects like emotional intelligence and practical vision,
Tara is a known source of inspiration for leaders who are working to create a
better workplace for everyone."
At Hallmark, Frank is responsible for
partnering across product development, marketing and retail to drive growth
with an increasingly diverse consumer base. She leads Hallmark's Multicultural
Center of Excellence, whose work has inspired a more holistic approach to
leveraging the nuance of culture as a foundational and innovative path to
relevance. She was the youngest person in Hallmark’s history to be promoted
into executive management and its first African American female vice president.
Frank's 2015 book, Say Yes: A Woman’s Guide to Advancing Her Professional Purpose, was
written to prepare emerging women leaders to rise to higher levels of
