NEW Leader magazine to explore future workplace

The Network of Executive Women has joined forces with Stagnito Business Information to produce a special edition magazine on women’s leadership and the changing retail and consumer goods workforce.
More than 55,000 copies of the one-off, stand-alone magazine will be distributed with print copies of Progressive Grocer and Retail Leader in March and distributed at 2016 industry events. Additional copies will be distributed online, shared on social media and mailed direct to senior industry executives.
"Our new workforce -- dominated by women, Millennials, immigrants and multicultural employees -- have vastly different needs and expectations,” NEW President and CEO Joan Toth writes in the magazine’s introduction. "Smart companies know this and are working with NEW to transform their workplaces.”
NEW Leader will feature articles on the competitive advantage of diversity and inclusion; why men should support women’s leadership; the double-bind faced by multicultural women; and how Millennials are reshaping the industry. The 44-page magazine will also include charts and data, quotes from industry leaders and profiles of 12 "rising stars to know.”
