Alison Castillo, director of industry relations and sustainable living for Unilever, came away from the inaugural NEW Rising Stars leadership development program a new person. And she wants you to know about it.

The months-long program, which provided Castillo and more than 100 other mid-level women with tools and insights for advancing their careers, led her to recognize a need to develop her personal brand, she shared during the NEW Rising Stars Town Hall, Feb. 23.

The half-hour webinar provided NEW members an overview of NEW Rising Stars, designed for leaders eager to expand their leadership capacity. Built on the NEW Career Accelerator ModelTM  developed in partnership with the Center for Creative Leadership, NEW Rising Stars focuses on eight leadership competencies and five career derailers critical for career success. Registration for NEW Rising Stars 2017 closes March 31.

“The program is designed for mid-career leaders, with three to five years of work experience,” Kathy Bayert, NEW vice president of learning and advisory services, said. “The focus is on elevating your leadership.”

Participants will identify “how you’re showing up, strengths and opportunities to grow,” Bayert said.

NEW Rising Stars offers a multilayered approach to leadership development, including a 360 assessment, an orientation webinar, a three-day in-person session in Minneapolis, two virtual learning sessions and two one-on-one executive coaching sessions.

“Coaching opened the door to external feedback,” Castillo said. “I hope you hear that I have nothing but positive things to say about this program.”

Not able to travel for the in-person session? NEW Rising Stars Online offers a 360-degree assessment, orientation webinar, three virtual learning sessions and two one-on-one coaching sessions.
