More than 200 Network of Executive Women Texas members gained insights into balancing executive responsibilities with a full family life at a networking reception June 9 at Kimberly-Clark World Headquarters in Irving, Texas.

Mercedes Bazterrica, vice president for the international adult and feminine care business, shared how she juggles global work responsibilities while raising young children.

"Mercedes’ remarks about her career were insightful, candid and inspiring,” said Sally McKelvey, senior director, operations financial planning and analysis for 7-Eleven Inc. "I enjoyed the event’s balance between the prepared program and unstructured networking time. I always come away from NEW events with my battery recharged and a new idea or skill to apply in my job.”

Alanna Cotton, senior director, business development, PepsiCo Inc., added: "Mercedes Bazterrica’s message on the effect that brands can have on the daily lives of families and individuals was both powerful and inspiring. It made me proud to be a part of the CPG industry.”
