NEW Florida mixer offers style tips

Nearly 50 Network of
Executive Women Florida members learned style tips from image experts at
Dillard’s department store at a mixer Aug. 25, 2011 in Tampa.
Attendees learned about
essentials for daytime professional and evening wardrobes, the latest in
shapewear options, 2012 footwear trends and the many ways to wear a scarf. The
evening event included networking and appetizers at a nearby restaurant.
"What a great opportunity to network with
Florida colleagues while getting tips on maintaining a professional image in an
affordable way,” said NEW Florida Co-Chair Trish Brynjolfsson, vice president
business and industry development for Catalina Marketing Corp.
Alyson Welch, director of shopper marketing for
Mars Advertising and a NEW Florida planning committee member, tested the newest
skin care treatments and acted as a model for a demonstration of ways to take
cosmetics from daytime to nighttime.
The event attracted
several new potential members and committee volunteers, Brynjolfsson said.
