Attendees at the Network of Executive Women CPG Retail Diversity Forum 2012 will discover the bottom-line business benefits of diversity and inclusion strategies affecting employees, consumers and suppliers. The NEW Diversity Forum, March 6-8 in Dallas, is the cpg/retail industry’s leading diversity and inclusion event.

"There are three pillars of diversity success: managing a diverse workforce, marketing to today’s multicultural consumers and leveraging supplier diversity,” said NEW President and CEO Joan Toth. "The NEW Diversity Forum 2012 will offer Super Sessions to help industry leaders gain insights and develop strategies in all three areas.”

The "Workplace: Retaining Diverse Talent” Super Session will feature a workforce trends expert explaining critical trends the cpg/retail industry must address to retain diverse leaders. Best-in-class companies, including General Mills, will reveal their strategies and the changes they made to retain their top talent.

"Marketplace: Building Bridges to Diverse Consumers” will focus on the rich opportunities in the fastest-growing segments of the cpg/retail industry. Multicultural marketing expert Jackie Reynolds, CEO of The ShopShop Inc., will share strategies for targeting consumers in profitable multicultural market segments and building authentic relationships with them. An industry executive will provide a case history of multicultural marketing at work. Attendees will then be guided through a self-assessment designed to outline ways to apply the principles and tactics learned.

The third Super Session, "Supplier Diversity: The Secret to Better Business,” will spotlight the link between supplier diversity and organizational sustainability. Attendees will receive practical advice n how to integrate supplier diversity throughout an organization. Led by Dr. Melvin Gravely, managing director of The Institute of Entrepreneurial Thinking, this Super Session will pay special attention to the benefits of supplier diversity from an internal and external perspective.

NEW members who register now will receive $200 off the registration fee. A limited number of rooms have been reserved at a NEW member discount at the Westin Park Dallas, which will host the CPG Retail Diversity Forum 2012.
