NEW members choose success at New York Metro spring event

More than 300 Network of Executive Women members and supporters were challenged to make choices that create success in all areas of their lives, at the NEW New York Metro spring event, May 14, 2012 at the Liberty House Restaurant in Jersey City, N.J.
Dale Smith Thomas, founder of Winners By Choice Inc., urged attendees to take control of their attitude, language and life. "Great leaders have a championship attitude,” Thomas said. "It’s a choice. Not an emotion. Decide what attitude [you] are having today. Become aware of how you want to start your day.”
True leaders study the life lessons that work for them, practice them and then share them with others, she added. "Leaders are ‘HOPE Dealers,’” she said. "Helping Other People Excel.”
Thomas advised attendees to create a blueprint for their lives. "Any goal that is not written down is a wish,” she said.
The keynote speaker was "engaging, energetic, and inspiring,” according to NEW New York Metro Co-Secretary Robyn Meyeroff, regional sales manager for The Clorox Company. "Her suggestions on how to win by choosing success can be applied at all levels of an organization, as well as in one's personal life.”

Johnson, Sears Holdings Corporation, Stop & Shop, Unilever, Valassis and Wakefern Food Corporation.
