Julie Gilbert Newrai
Retailing and branding expert Julie Gilbert Newrai, former
senior vice president of Best Buy, will address women and the future of retail
at the NEW Leadership Summit 2012 , Oct. 22-23 in Dallas.
Gilbert Newrai, president of WOLF, a consulting
firm specializing in brand building and enterprise-wide cultural
transformation, will blend real-lifebusiness stories, data and actionable
advice in her keynote presentation on Tuesday, Oct. 23. During her 18
years as a corporate senior executive and four years heading her own firm,
Gilbert Newrai has built growth for companies such as Motorola, Lifetouch,
Microsoft, Major League Baseball and Target.
"While in retailing, Julie Gilbert Newrai became increasingly
aware of women’s influence and spending power here and abroad,” noted NEW
President Joan Toth. "She recognized that the voices of customers and customer-facing
employees were unheard and responded by creating teams of customers and
employees who connected with business leaders who could implement the best
ideas across functions -- with outstanding results. The Network looks
forward to sharing her vision and experience.”
The NEW Leadership Summit 2012 will kick off Monday, Oct.
