Honor your heroes with NEW Legacy Project through July 20
Wednesday, June 27, 2012
The Network of Executive Women has launched The NEW Legacy
Project, a social media campaign that will honor the cpg/retail industry's most
inspirational leaders and gather legacies that members are living and leaving
to others.
Members of the cpg/retail industry are invited to visit
The NEW Legacy Project website or click on the blue Legacy Project
tab at Facebook.com/newnational and answer at least one of the five questions.
Those who participate by Friday, July 20, 2012, will be automatically entered
in the NEW Legacy Sweepstakes for a chance to win $500 or 50 other prizes.
"The NEW Legacy Project is about the legacies you've
been given, the ones you live today and the ones you'll pass on to the
nextgeneration,” said NEW President and CEO Joan Toth. "The Network will share
the industry’s responses to help our members and others create a vision
for themselves and inspire their colleagues in the cpg/retail industry.”
The NEW Legacy Project allows industry members to describe the legacy they would like to
leave to their family, organization or the world; honor someone who
changed their life; honor a leader who has left a lasting legacy to the
cpg/retail industry; choose a woman who has inspired them; and submit a photo
of someone who left them a legacy or to whom they want to leave a legacy.
Participants may sign their legacy statements or remain
anonymous and still be entered in the contest. The most inspiring legacy
statements and photos will be shared at the NEW Executive Leaders Forum, July
21-Aug.2, 2012 in Los Angeles.
One grand prize winner of The Legacy Sweepstakes will
receive a $500 American Express gift card. Fifty other winners will
receive a brushed metal 4 x 6-inch "My Legacy” photo frame. Participants must
be 18 years old and a member of the consumer products and retail industry to
enter. The NEW Legacy Project is not associated with Facebook and is
administered by North Social, a division of Vocus. See contest rules for
details.
