Women For Hire and Walmart team up for recruiting outreach

Women For Hire, a national women’s recruiting firm, is looking for experienced women in retail management to take part in a Walmart initiative to identify and place women in top leadership positions at the store level in Dallas, Kansas City and San Antonio.

Attracting women to the very top store-level roles is difficult because "quite frankly those positions aren’t typically seen as very female or family-friendly,” Women For Hire CEO Tory Johnson told NEW. "We have to change that.”  This special program is a series of invitation-only events in August and September for high-potential women in each of the three cities.  As part of our sourcing efforts, Women For Hire is looking for women with large scale operations experience in retail, hospitality, restaurant and food services, manufacturing and publishing.

If you know women who may qualify for this opportunity, please have them send a resume and a short description of their current employment or future career goals to leadership@womenforhire.com. Indicate "Retail Leadership” in the subject line along with one of the three cities listed above.
