The first 125 attendees at this year's NEW Leadership Summit received a resilience coaching session, thanks to an unprecedented effort by Karlin Sloan & Company. The free one-hour feedback session  included the Graham-Sloan Resilience Assessment designed to explore resilience strengths and opportunities. Ten sessions were conducted face-to-face in Dallas and the remainder of the sessions were conducted by telephone in the days leading up to the Summit. More than 74 percent of respondents to the Network's post-event Summit evaluation rated the assessments very good or excellent; one in four rated them good.

Nineteen coaches from across the country lent their guidance to Network members, including Dorie Blesoff, Colleen Boselli, Lou Chrostowski, Bob Corbett, Bob Cuthbert, Robert Demaree, Alan Graham, Nicole Hooper, Donna Karlin, Steve Leichtman, Alison Musgrave, Elizabeth Olson, Carrie Radovich, Peg Rowe, Michael Sanson, Karlin Sloan, Jackie Sloane, Susan Spitz-Meyers and Adelaide Waters.

Karlin Sloan & Company is a U.S.-based leadership development consulting firm with a track record of large-scale, high-impact programs for business. It was founded by Karlin Sloan, who serves as the company's CEO. Sloan is the author of Smarter, Faster, Better: Strategies for Effective, Enduring, and Fulfilled Leadership, a founding member of the International Consortium for Coaching in Organizations, and a popular keynote speaker on leadership and teamwork.
