NEW releases board of directors nominee lineup

The Network of Executive Women has released a slate of nine new faces and 11 incumbents as its nominees for the Network’s 2010-2011 officers and board of directors.
NEW members have an opportunity to vote on the slate, recommended by the Network’s nominating committee, Sept. 27, 2010 at the association’s annual members meeting in Charlotte, N.C., prior to the NEW Annual Leadership Summit.
First-time nominees are Jeff Boser, senior vice president, global sales, Kellogg Company; David E. Dudick, senior vice president and president, U.S. Channels, General Mills Inc.; Erby L. Foster Jr., director, diversity and inclusion, The Clorox Company; Lisa Klauser, vice president, consumer & customer solutions, Unilever; Catherine N. Lindner, vice president, retail marketing, Walgreen Company; Marie Quintana, vice president, multicultural sales, PepsiCo Inc; Rosa Stroh, vice president, treasurer, The Hershey Company; Marla Harger Thompson, vice president, national accounts, Catalina Marketing; and Annie Zipfel, director, Target owned brands, Target Corporation.
Rounding out the slate of nominees are incumbents Michelle Gloeckler, NEW’s president-elect and vice president, DMM candy and front-end impulse, Walmart Stores Inc.; Beverly Grant, vice president, chief channel officer, Procter & Gamble Company; Cathy Green, president, Food Lion family of banners, Food Lion LLC; Julie M. Hamilton, president, Global Walmart Group, Coca-Cola Company; Betsy Hosick, general manager, strategic capability, Chevron Corporation; Tonie Leatherberry, principal, Deloitte Consulting LLP; and Chelle Moore, vice president, international human resources, Walmart Stores Inc. Other incumbent nominees include Alison Kenney Paul, NEW president and vice chairman, leader, U.S. retail practice, Deloitte; Margarita Rossi, global director, category solutions, Johnson & Johnson; Regenia Stein, vice president, trade strategy, integrated planning and execution, Kraft Foods; and Debbie Wildrick, senior vice president, sales and marketing, Equa Water Corporation.
In making its selections, the nominating committee, consisting of past and present Network officers, evaluated each applicant's involvement in NEW, achievements in diversity and inclusion and ability to advance the Network's mission.
