President, Food Lion
As president of Food Lion, Meg Ham oversees all aspects of Food Lion’s operations, including financial performance, merchandising, pricing, customer service, marketing and strategy. In this role, she serves as a member of Delhaize America’s leadership team. Ham previously served as president of Bottom Dollar Food and has held leadership roles at Bloom, Harveys, Reid’s and Hannaford Supermarkets. Originally from central New York, Ham earned a bachelor of science degree in business management and marketing from Cornell University. She serves on the national Easter Seals board of directors and the FMI Foundation board of trustees. In addition, she is a past board member of the board of governors for Saint Joseph’s University’s Food Marketing Educational Foundation. Ham was awarded the Top Women in Grocery Trailblazer award from Progressive Grocer and NEW in 2015. She resides in Concord, N.C., with her husband and two sons.
