Valerie Oswalt is responsible for leading strategy, marketing and operations in the U.S. and Canada for Mondelēz International's chocolate, candy, gum and cough brands. She oversees a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of global brands that include Trident, Sour Patch Kids, Oreo chocolate candy and Halls. She previously served as president of sales for North America, where she focused on delivering revenue, share and operational efficiency across all channels for the biscuit and confections portfolios. Her career at Mondelēz International includes various cross-functional leadership roles in sales, supply chain, marketing and finance. Prior to Mondelēz International, she served as CPA at Deloitte & Touche. In addition to board service for the City of Hope Northern California Chapter, she has served as a national sponsor to the Mondelēz International Women’s Sales Council. Oswalt received her bachelor’s degree from Queens College of the City University of New York and her master’s degree in marketing, strategy and finance management from Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
