CEOs to share equality solutions at NEW Forum

Three past and present CEOs will share their insights on gender equality at the NEW Executive Forum 2018, July 31 to August 2 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa outside San Diego.

Former Campbell Soup Company President and CEO Denise Morrison, Crate & Barrel CEO Neela Montgomery and J.C. Penney Chairman and CEO Marvin Ellison will address this year’s Forum, which is themed “Transform.”

More than 300 senior leaders from the retail, consumer goods, financial services and technology sectors are expected to attend the by-invitation event, which will focus on strategies to achieve gender parity and leverage women’s leadership.

Morrison will join her daughter, Altria executive Michelle Chenery, for a candid discussion about nurturing young leaders and Leading with Intention, moderated by NEW Board member Dagmar Boggs, president of The Coca-Cola Company’s 7-Eleven global team.

Montgomery will offer her insights on reaching beyond self-imposed and often unconscious limitations during her featured address, Beyond Our Horizon.

Ellison will join Ron Parker, former CEO of Executive Leadership Council; Shannon Schulyer, chief purpose officer for PwC; Lisa Wardell, president and CEO of Adtalem Global Education; and Cid Wilson, president and CEO of Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility, for a panel discussion about Driving Diversity from the Top.

Maureen Chiquet, former global CEO for Chanel, who will open the NEW Forum with a keynote on Courageous Conversations We’re Not Having, challenging leaders to think beyond labels and root out gender bias.

Deloitte Chairman Mike Fucci, who will have a candid conversation with Kellogg’s Chief Human Resources Officer Melissa Howell about How to Be a Future Leader (Today).

Procter & Gamble Group President Carolyn Tastad, who will discuss reveal how P&G is Empowering Our Girls by using its marketing power to challenge gender stereotypes.

Hallmark Chief Marketing Officer Lindsey Roy, who will offer A Case Study: Care Enough, revealing how the greeting card company learned to touch hearts, change minds and enhance business opportunities.
