Julie Basile has joined the Network of Executive Women in the newly created role of vice president for regions, community and marketing.
Basile, who most recently served as director of sales and operations for the Dollar General Team at The Coca-Cola Company, is responsible for NEW’s regional growth strategy and community development.
Basile has more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience, including roles at Diageo and Kellogg Company. Before joining NEW, she was an active member and volunteer leader for NEW Atlanta, NEW Chicago and NEW Minneapolis.
“Julie has been a champion of gender equality in the workplace throughout her career,” said NEW President and CEO Sarah Alter. “She’s mentored and sponsored high-potential women and volunteered her time and talent to closing the gender opportunity gap for more than a decade.
