The Network of Executive Women has joined forces with EnsembleIQ to publish the third annual NEW Leader magazine. The NEW publication — distributed online and with April issues of Retail Leader and Progressive Grocer, features more than 30 interviews exploring the changing retail and consumer goods workforce.
The 36-page magazine examines the factors holding women back, what millennials want at work, how single moms are balancing career and family and the personal career journeys of three women of color.
NEW Leader also looks at ways men are championing women’s leadership, goes on the road with Kings CEO Judy Spires and talks with former NEW CEO Joan Toth about the industry’s progress in closing the gender leadership gap.
"Our industry’s success will rise or fall on our ability to develop and retain the best talent regardless of gender, race, age or sexual orientation,” said Vice President of Partnerships and Engagement Nancy Krawczyk. "We’re proud to showcase the stories of the women and men who share NEW’s passion for transforming our industry, leveling the playing field and creating a stronger and better workplace for all.”
Companies featured include Accenture, Advantage Solutions, Ahold USA, Atkins Nutritionals, Brown-Forman, Catalina, The Clorox Company, The Coca-Cola Company, CROSSMARK, The Danone Company, Deloitte, Fleet Pride Inc., Hallmark, Henkel, The Hershey Company, IRI, Johnson & Johnson, Kings Super Markets, The Kraft Heinz Company, The Kroger Co.; Mead Johnson Nutrition, Nestlé Purina, Nielsen, pep, PepsiCo Inc., Pfizer, Safeway, Unilever, Walgreens, The Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and Wm.
