NEW leaders will join the National At-Home Dad Network HomeDadCon 2017 meeting, September 14-16 in Portland, Oregon. NEW partner companies Procter & Gamble and Albertsons are title partners for the 22nd annual event.
“NEW is happy to support the work of the National At-Home Dad Network, and we look forward to participating in HomeDadCon 2017,” NEW Vice President Kathy Bayert said. “It’s time to recognize the valuable support at-home dads provide to their families, our industry and society at large.”
"I could not be more excited that Procter & Gamble and Albertsons Companies are coming on board as our Title Sponsors of HomeDadCon this year,” said Chris Routly, current president of the NAHDN Board of Directors. “HomeDadCon organizers expect a record attendance for this, the 22nd year for one of the longest-running annual fatherhood conferences in America. Dads from across the country will convene to learn or improve parenting skills, network with other dads, hear from quality speakers and parenting experts, and advocate for fathers in regular caregiver roles for their families."
HomeDadCon will take place from September 14-16, 2017 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Portland, Oregon. The only convention of its kind in the nation, HomeDadCon is focused specifically on bringing together fathers who are a regular source of care for their children, regardless of their marital or employment status.
Hosting the convention this year locally is PDX Dads Group, a group for involved fathers in the Portland metropolitan area, and an affiliate of City Dads Group. Members of NEW Pacific Northwest are also expected to participate.
